Picky Pic gives you four rooms rather than a single booth, each lit differently, and a props wall with more than a hundred things to grab off it. Pick a room, set the timer, and shoot as many frames as you like inside your session — nobody is standing over you — then choose the keepers at a screen on the way out.
Four rooms is what saves you on a busy evening: if the one you wanted is taken you take another instead of queueing behind it. Come as a group if you can, because you can split up, shoot separate sets and swap over, and walk out with four backdrops instead of the one a single-booth studio would have given you.
Bring an outfit you actually want photographed, and give yourself longer than you think — the props wall is where the time disappears. It runs late into the evening every day of the week, so you can drop in before a film or after dinner without planning around it. It is down on the second basement of PLQ Mall, in the complex built straight over Paya Lebar station.
