Hana Film (City Hall / CityLink)

Hana Film at CityLink Mall is a self-photo studio in the underground stretch between City Hall station and Marina Square, done out in minimalist blue and white.

The look is the unmanned Korean studio rather than the prop-heavy sort: clean sets including a sofa, a lift interior and an office. Photos come as strips, multi-cut sheets or ID shots, around $10 each, with free soft copies and a transparent pouch to carry them in. As at the Orchard branch, you can retake after each individual shot rather than redoing the whole strip, which is the thing that most separates Hana Film from an ordinary mall photo booth.

It suits couples, friends, and anyone who needs decent ID photographs without an appointment — a job the plain sets handle better than a themed booth would. Being underground on the City Hall walkway makes it a dry, easy stop when the weather turns. It closes earlier than the Orchard Central branch, so check the hour if you are heading over late.
