Escapee is an escape room operator on the ground floor of KAP Mall at King Albert Park, running since 2015 and one of the few options in the Bukit Timah stretch.

Rooms cover a murder mystery in Vendetta and a school-set puzzle in Classroom Crisis, among others, taking groups of two to eight across a standard hour. Difficulty is pitched across a range rather than at veterans, and the birthday person plays free — worth timing a visit around if someone in the group has one coming up.

It suits families, friend groups and couples, and it is a genuinely convenient option for anyone in the west or along the Downtown Line who would otherwise travel into town. KAP Mall is directly above King Albert Park station. Book ahead rather than turning up.
