HaveFun Karaoke (313@Somerset)

HaveFun at 313@Somerset is on level 4 of the mall above Somerset station, and it is the chain’s after-hours room: it runs to 6am, later than anything else HaveFun operates and later than almost any karaoke room in Singapore. Those hours are the reason to choose it, and the reason the crowd here is different — it fills late rather than early, and it is the room for a night that started somewhere else and has not finished.

Rooms are spacious and the sound is well regarded. Staff draw consistent praise for being quick and friendly, and the location is as convenient as karaoke gets, sitting directly above the station.

Two things to set expectations on. Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout, but at these hours not every guest respects that, and an occasional smell of cigarettes is the thing regulars raise most often. The rooms are also the most tired in the chain and due a refresh. If the late hours are what you need, neither will stop you; if they are not, the Cineleisure branch is two stops away and a considerably better room for the same money.
