Here’s what a Timezone birthday party in Singapore includes, what it really costs once the add-ons go on, and which outlets have a party room. Timezone runs the whole thing for you: you turn up, a host runs the games, and you go home.

The three packages differ more than their names suggest, and a few rules in the fine print matter more than the price.

The three packages

All prices are per child and include GST. Every package comes with a party host, 80 minutes of unlimited play on the standard games, and e-tickets already loaded β€” 500 per guest and 2,500 for the birthday child.

🎈 Just Play β€” $45/child

Minimum 5 children. No party room.

The cheapest package, and the only one that works for a small guest list. You get the host, the 80 minutes, two claw games and the e-tickets, but no private room, so there is nowhere to sit down for the cake.

Available at VivoCity, Westgate, Jurong Point, Waterway Point, City Square Mall, Pasir Ris Mall and NorthPoint City. It can’t be combined with other promotions or member discounts.

🎈 Extreme Fun β€” $55/child

Minimum 10 children. 40 minutes in a party room.

The middle package, and the one most families choose. It is Just Play plus 40 minutes in a party room for the cake and the singing. Available at Westgate, Jurong Point and Waterway Point.

🎈 Ultimate Fun β€” $65/child

Minimum 10 children. Party room plus VR.

Extreme Fun plus a third claw game and one VR game per child. Only at Orchard Xchange and VivoCity, the two biggest outlets.

What it really costs

The price is per child, but the two room packages have a minimum of 10 children, and you pay for ten even if fewer turn up. There is no refund for the empty places.

Base cost (10 children)
Just Play (min 5)$225
Extreme Fun$550
Ultimate Fun$650

Then the extras, per guest unless noted:

  • Bumper cars β€” $8/ride (Orchard Xchange and VivoCity; riders 112cm and up)
  • Drift bumper cars β€” $8/ride, two to a car (Jurong Point only; driver 130cm and up, passenger 105cm and up)
  • Social or mini bowling β€” $6/game
  • VR game β€” $6/game
  • ColourGrid β€” $6/game (Orchard Xchange only)
  • Snack platter and drink β€” $8/child
  • Goodie bag β€” $8/child
  • 1,000 extra e-tickets β€” $25
  • Extra party host β€” $88

Adults who want to play are charged as an extra child. A 12-child Extreme Fun party with snacks, goodie bags and a round of bowling comes to about $900.

Nine rules to know before you book

  1. Cancelling costs you half. Cancel at least 7 days ahead and you get 50% back. You never get a full refund on the package. Add-ons can be refunded at 7 days or more, case by case.
  2. The party room is only yours for the last 40 minutes. You can’t use it during the 80 minutes of play, so plan the cake for the end.
  3. Arrive 15 minutes early. There are no extensions, so arriving late shortens your own party.
  4. No buffet catering. Drinks and small, bite-sized snacks are fine.
  5. Bring your own cake, but no sparkler candles β€” they set off the fire alarm and you would pay for the callout. Backdrops and piΓ±atas aren’t allowed either. Party hats, table mats and simple photo props are fine.
  6. Rooms hold 20 to 25 guests, or 10 to 15 in the shared space at Westgate, where two parties may be running either side of a divider.
  7. One host is included. For more than 10 children, a second host at $88 is worth it.
  8. One adult for every four children. Under-15s need an adult with them. There is no upper age limit, so adults can have a Timezone party too.
  9. No school uniforms. The rule is strictly enforced, so tell parents if children are coming straight from school.

Which outlets take parties

  • Party rooms: Jurong Point, Orchard Xchange (two rooms), VivoCity (two rooms), Waterway Point (two rooms), Westgate (shared space)
  • Parties but no room: Pasir Ris Mall (open area, minimum 10 children), City Square Mall

For the Ultimate package you need Orchard Xchange or VivoCity. For bowling as an add-on, you need Jurong Point, Orchard Xchange or Westgate.

How to pay less

Use your Powercard membership. Platinum members get 20% off (up to $130), Gold 15% and Blue Elite 10% on the Ultimate, Extreme and Epic packages, once a calendar year. Enter the first nine digits of your Powercard in the promo code box, and register the card on the member portal or Fun App first. If you have just been upgraded, allow three working days.

Check the current promotion. Until 30 September 2026 there is $100 off the Ultimate package at Orchard Xchange with the code 100ULTIMATE, plus a free attraction per guest on every package except Just Play. Promotions change every few months.

Discounts don’t stack: it is the member discount or a promo code, not both, so use whichever saves more.

Is it worth it?

For ten or more children, yes. There is no food to arrange, no games to run and nothing to clean up, and the weather doesn’t matter. The birthday child goes home with 2,500 e-tickets to spend at the prize counter.

It suits a small party less well, because below ten children you pay for empty places unless Just Play is enough. And if a long sit-down meal matters, 40 minutes in a party room won’t be enough time.

Book at least a week ahead. Rooms go to whoever pays first.
