Timezone Westgate splits more than 170 games into three zones — Carnival, Racing and Music — which makes finding what you came for easier than the single room of cabinets most arcades run. Under-tens tend to stay in Carnival; the racing and music machines are where everyone older ends up.
There are two kinds of bowling here, mini lanes and social lanes, alongside VR, air hockey, basketball hoops and boxing machines. A ColourGrid arena has recently been added, the lit-floor reaction game rolling out across the chain’s larger venues. At 18,000 square feet it is second in size only to the Orchard Road flagship.
It suits families and groups in the west who would otherwise travel into town, and the event space takes birthday parties and company outings with a couple of hours of unlimited play. It gets busy from mid-afternoon at weekends, so a weekday is the calmer version of the same floor. It is in the basement of Westgate, a few minutes from Jurong East station.
