Jolly Jungle at Our Tampines Hub is a jungle-themed indoor playground on level 3 of the community hub, and one of the better-kept ones in the east.

The zones cover a sandpit, a padded bounce area, a treehouse and an LED-lit mega slide, which between them handle both a cautious three-year-old and a boisterous eight-year-old without either being bored or overwhelmed. Entry is a single-visit ticket priced at the cheap end for this category, and there is a bulk pass of twenty hours that siblings can share — which changes the maths considerably for families who come every week rather than occasionally.

Cleanliness is what reviewers return to, along with staff who actually supervise rather than sit at the counter. It suits families in the east, and being inside the hub means a library, swimming pools, a food court and an arcade are all a few minutes away if the afternoon needs extending. Tampines station is a covered walk, which matters more than it sounds when it rains.
