Indoor PlaygroundsWan To Play Tropical Drift (Woodlands Civic Centre)
Wan To Play Tropical Drift is on the fourth floor of Woodlands Civic Centre, a short walk from Woodlands station, and role play is what it does. The hospital corner runs to an ECG scanner and an X-ray station with gowns and masks, and beside it sits a vet’s table with grooming tools and a dental kit.
That half of the room also holds a kitchen with bear-shaped ovens and elephant taps, a garage where a car is hoisted on buttons so you can work underneath it on a wheeled plank, a police corner stocked with helmets, vests, handcuffs, walkie-talkies and a cell, and a dressing room with a lit mirror, tiaras and wands. For running about there are trampolines, slides into a large ball pit, a maze, a Floor is Lava room with blue blocks to jump between, a fishing game, kinetic sand and building blocks. The youngest get a bead pit fenced off from the rest.
Several rides are charged on top of admission, the bumper cars among them, and those are the ones children remember. It runs from infants to upper primary, and entry is a two-hour slot.
