Level Up – Bar & Arcade (Clarke Quay)

Closed right now Clarke Quay $$$ Premium
Pixel-art illustration of two friends walking through Level Up at Clarke Quay, past the foosball and air hockey tables, with the bar, arcade cabinets and a neon GAME ON sign behind them.

Level Up at Clarke Quay is an arcade bar — retro cabinets, a proper drinks list and a live band most nights, in one room by the river.

Tokens come with the drinks rather than being the main purchase, and the machines are the ones people grew up with: Metal Slug, Time Crisis, Bishi Bashi, racing cabinets and a Street Fighter or two, alongside pool, darts, air hockey and claw machines. Local bands play daily, so the room shifts from arcade to music bar as the evening goes on. There is no cover charge.

It is built for adults rather than children — this is a bar with games in it, not an arcade that serves beer. Under-18s can come in with an adult from 5pm to 8pm, Monday to Saturday, or from 5pm until closing on Sundays. Drinks and tokens both add up, so it is a night out rather than a cheap hour. Clarke Quay station is a two-minute walk.
