Fun Claw at Sengkang Grand Mall takes a ground-floor unit beside Buangkok station.
It is one of the better-looking shops in the chain. The floor is bright and clean, the machines are laid out with room to walk between them, and the soft toys are a decent spread of characters rather than the tired stock some claw shops run on. Buying tokens is straightforward — there is a changer on the floor and it is clear enough to work out without asking anyone, which matters here, because there is nobody to ask.
The problem is that almost none of it is realistically winnable. The claws are too weak to lift the prizes they are stocked with: the grip closes, the toy comes up a little, and it drops back into the pile. With no staff on site, a machine that takes a token and stops has to be chased afterwards rather than sorted there and then, and the number to call is on the mall’s directory rather than anywhere in the shop. Go in treating it as ten minutes of trying rather than a way to come home with a toy, decide what you are willing to spend before you start, and do not count on leaving with anything.
