Teo Heng at White Sands plays YouTube as well as its own catalogue, so the song list is effectively whatever exists — including the romanised K-pop videos the built-in library never carries. The rooms are clean and the sound system is a good deal better than the price suggests.
You hire the room by the hour by size rather than paying per head, in four, six and ten-seat rooms. Outside food and drink are welcome, there is no bar and no alcohol is served, so a long session never turns into a bar bill. Regulars collect perks through the chain’s app.
Two things will save you trouble. The advertised all-day promotional rate is not all day — it applies before seven in the evening only, and an afternoon start is where the saving is. And booking is by phone with no online option, which is the weak point here: the phone manner is brusque, and getting a straight answer can take repeating yourself. It suits families, students and friend groups who want somewhere cheap and loud rather than a lounge with a drinks minimum, and for anyone around Pasir Ris or Tampines it saves the trip into town. It is on level 5 of White Sands, the mall built over Pasir Ris MRT and the bus interchange.
