Solace Studios (Century Square)

Solace Studios at Century Square is a self-photo studio on level 3 of the mall in Tampines, and the chain’s only branch in the east.

It runs the standard Solace format rather than the specialist booths of the Haji Lane flagship: studio backdrops, a timer you control yourselves, unlimited retakes inside your session, and frames chosen at a screen afterwards. Prints start around $10. Props are provided, and the vanity counters have hair dryers and straighteners free to borrow.

It suits friend groups, couples and families in the east who would otherwise travel into town for the same thing. It is a newer and smaller branch, so the range of sets is narrower — the fisheye and low-angle booths are at Haji Lane. For a straightforward set of prints on the way through Tampines, it does the job without the queue the town branches carry.
