Overworld Lava on level 5 of Orchard Central puts three physical games in one room: a lava floor, a laser maze and a reaction wall.
The lava floor uses pressure-sensitive LED tiles whose safe zones shift as you play, so it reads your weight rather than your timing alone. The laser maze is the one people underestimate — real beams strung at different heights that you crawl under and step over, and it is harder on the knees than it looks. Tap Tap is a timed memory and speed game to finish on. It is genuinely a workout, which is not true of every venue that claims it.
It suits friend groups and active families, and it sits directly beside Sandbox VR on the same floor, so a group can pair a physical game with a virtual one without leaving the building. Somerset station is a couple of minutes away. The same operator runs a larger VR centre at Kallang Wave Mall.
