Kidodo Village is a children’s craft studio on level two of Marina Square, where the activities end with something to take home or eat.
The sessions are hands-on and led by staff rather than left to you. Children sew and stuff their own dolls, decorate cakes, make bracelets and necklaces, and cook in a small kitchen, eating what they have made at the end of it. The cooking is done over real heat, so judge whether a very young child will take to standing at a hob before you book that one. Between activities there is a play area with a train track and a toy kitchen, so a child who finishes early is not left waiting around.
Staff here are used to small children and will do the fiddly parts without taking the job over. It is quieter on weekdays, which is worth knowing because these are sit-down activities at a table rather than a room to run about in. Birthday bookings are taken, and the cake decorating is built for them.
