Candy K-Bar Family Karaoke

Candy K-Bar is a themed-room karaoke place on level 2 of TripleOne Somerset, a few minutes from Somerset station and a little off the main Orchard Road strip.

There are eighteen rooms across five sizes, themed rather than plain — a Monkey God room and a Princess room among them — and the larger ones come with more than a songbook: the darts rooms and the VIP have darts, foosball and LED lighting, with the VIP taking up to fifty people. Afternoon packages work out at roughly $27 a head for two hours, which is fair for the postcode.

It suits birthdays and large group bookings, which is what the darts and princess rooms exist for. One thing worth knowing: the stated capacities are generous, and a room booked to its maximum will feel snug — going a size up is money well spent if you have the choice. It runs until 3am daily, so it works as either the first or the last stop of an evening.
