BFF Climb (Bendemeer)

Open now Bendemeer $$ Mid-range
Pixel-art illustration of a bouldering room with coloured holds across every wall and a full-height window, two climbers on the walls and a third reading a route from the mats.

BFF Climb at Bendemeer sets for technique rather than brute strength, so you spend a session working out sequences instead of simply pulling harder. Problems run from one to fifteen across slabs and overhangs, and every high wall is on auto belay — you can turn up alone, climb ropes all evening, and never need anyone to hold the other end. The harness comes with your entry rather than as an extra.

If you have never climbed there is a section of lower walls set aside for exactly that, and a short safety briefing before you start. At the other end, anyone with something specific to train has a MoonBoard and a speed wall with its own routes. Bouldering and top rope are both on the floor alongside the auto belay.

It stays open late, which makes a climb after work a proper session rather than a rushed hour, and the showers and changing rooms upstairs matter if you are heading straight on somewhere afterwards. Children climb in their own guided sessions during the afternoons rather than sharing the main floor, so bring them then and take the evenings for yourself. The gym is on the ground floor of CT Hub, a few minutes’ walk from Bendemeer station.
