WonderGround is a soft, padded play space for babies and toddlers at The Artground in One Holland Village, built as an underground world by the Singapore artist Aida Sa’ad.
Children crawl through twisting tunnels, find their way round root-like structures and peek into glittering, cave-like pockets, with textures to touch, pull and open along the way and slides to go down. It is made for children aged three and under, though older kids up to nine are welcome. On some weekends The Artground adds performances, storytelling, clay workshops and live nature sessions with The Curious Pangolin, which are booked separately.
It is well kept and carefully designed, and it is pitched properly at babies and young toddlers. It is not a big space, so children of four and up enjoy it but get through it quickly. Entry is by fixed session of an hour and a quarter, so book a slot on The Artground’s website and arrive at the start, because a session ends at its set time however late you come in. Everyone needs grip socks, and the counter sells them. WonderGround runs until 31 March 2027.
