Wan To Play Ocean Fantasy is the biggest playground this chain runs, on the ground floor of Punggol Coast Mall facing the bus interchange, and the theme is the sea. Children colour in a paper fish, write their name on it, and then watch it swim about on a screen across the room.
Two things cost extra on top of the entry price: a duck boat that carries you around a sand pit on an overhead track, and a set of miniature cars you drive around a circuit. Everything else is included. There is a climbing frame with a zipline running over foam blocks, two slides into a ball pit with an inflatable banana boat floating in it, trampolines with basketball hoops above them, ride-on cars, a fishing game and pits of the chain’s bead gravel. The dressing-up runs to police uniforms and princess costumes, and there is a pretend supermarket and a repair workshop beside it.
Pillars and corners are padded and gantries keep children from wandering out. Sessions run to a two-hour limit, and that holds even if you have bought a package, so be clear what you are buying before you do. Socks are compulsory and sold at the counter if you forget. A one-year-old and a five-year-old will both find something here.
