iClaw Taiwan (Eastpoint Mall)

iClaw Taiwan has a unit on the ground floor of Eastpoint Mall, which joins directly onto Simei station, so you get to it without stepping outside.

It is the Taiwanese chain’s Simei outlet, run on tokens, with the usual mix of licensed figures, blind boxes and plush. The claw closes on a toy, begins to lift it, and loses it on the way up. Watch a cabinet through somebody else’s go before you pick one, because that is where the money goes.

Zone X keeps a full arcade in the basement of the same mall, though it trades down there as Cowboy Utopia, so there is no Zone X sign to look for. If you get nowhere upstairs that is somewhere else to try without leaving the building, and its tickets buy a prize you pick rather than one a claw has to hand you.
