Fun Claw at Compass One is a run of claw machines on level two of the mall above Sengkang station.
Claws only, stocked with plush and character prizes and played on tokens from the changer. It sits in open floor space rather than behind a shopfront, so you come across it on the way past rather than setting out for it. The shop is unstaffed, which means the prizes are not repositioned through the day: a toy that has settled somewhere awkward stays there until someone gets it out or it is restocked.
Go in knowing what to expect. The claws do not hold — the grip closes, the toy lifts, and it is back in the pile before it reaches the chute — and coming away empty after a long go is ordinary here. There is nobody on site to raise a fault with, only the chain’s number on the mall directory. This is probably the worst venue in a chain of claw arcades broadly infamous for its stingy machines.
