T-Play at HomeTeamNS Bukit Batok is the clubhouse’s own indoor playground, on level two, themed end to end around transport and built for children from six months to twelve years.
The theme is done properly rather than stuck on as decals. The floor is laid out with runways, roads and train tracks, there are rockets, planes and trains to climb over, a train station, and air traffic radio chatter playing across the room. The main structure runs two storeys of climbing elements, crawl tunnels, a net, a mini rock wall and a trampoline, with a viewing platform at the top and a choice of slides down. Younger children have their own end: ball pits, low slides and foam building blocks, with a double-height air traffic control tower and a small ball pit underneath it. There is a craft table too, and it gets as much use as the climbing frame does. Across four thousand square feet the useful part is that the two halves are genuinely separate, so a crawler and a nine-year-old can both be busy without one flattening the other.
Entry is by fixed two-hour session rather than whenever you happen to arrive, so check the start times and book ahead — the last one begins at 7pm on Fridays and at weekends. The gaps between weekend sessions are cleaning breaks: the floor is wiped down between groups, which is why it stays as clean as it does. Staff stay out on the floor watching the structure rather than manning a desk, and they are the thing families come back for. One adult goes in free with every paying child, which changes the arithmetic if you are bringing two children between two parents. There is a nursing room, which counts when the youngest admitted are six months old. Bring socks for everyone going in, or buy a pair at the counter. It closes on Mondays outside public and school holidays — the thing that catches people out in term time, so check the calendar before you drive over.
