The Art Nooq at Pearl’s Hill Terrace is a private art jamming studio — your session is not shared with anyone else’s booking, which is unusual here.
Sessions run two hours and start from around $35, with a two-person minimum. You choose between a fully guided session, where a studio artist takes you through the process, and an unguided one where you are simply left with materials, templates and the room. All the paint, canvases and brushes are provided. The space is deliberately quiet, with a curated playlist rather than the chatter of a shared studio.
The privacy is what people book it for: couples, small groups of friends and teams who want to talk while they paint without an audience. It suits a date or a celebration better than a drop-in, and it needs planning — the two-person minimum means it does not work for a solo afternoon. Pearl’s Hill is a short walk from Outram Park or Chinatown.
