Pixels and Pieces in Serangoon Garden is a board game and console cafe that runs 24 hours, which is unusual even among the late-opening ones.

Inside there are more than a hundred Nintendo Switch titles alongside PS5 games, a board game library, and an automatic mahjong table that shuffles and deals so nobody loses ten minutes building walls. Four private rooms take groups of different sizes, and hourly rates are low, with a small add-on for unlimited snacks and drinks.

The overnight hours change what it is for: this is where a group ends up when everything else has shut, and where an all-night mahjong session actually works. It suits friend groups and students more than families, simply because of when people use it. Serangoon Garden is a bus ride from the nearest station rather than a walk, which matters more on the way home at 4am than on the way there.
