Kidodo Space at Suntec City is a space-themed playground built around a five-metre spiral slide, with a bead pit standing in for sand.
The beads are the detail parents notice: they pour and dig like sand but do not stick to skin or travel home in shoes, which removes the usual argument at the end of a session. Around them are ball-spraying machines, climbing structures and a Formula One driving simulator, and it runs from about nine months to twelve years. A separate VR corner next door sells short rides individually.
A ticket admits one child and one adult, priced by the hour. It is consistently less crowded than the bigger Marina Centre playgrounds, which for a nervous toddler is worth more than an extra slide. Suntec is a covered walk from Promenade or City Hall.
