Lockdown Escape (Marina Square)

Lockdown Escape at Marina Square is the family end of the escape room market, with bear-themed adventure games rather than horror.

Bearry Potter and the FireStorm Guardian, Bearsident Evil and Alice in Bearryland are its three physical rooms — parodies with proper puzzles behind them, and none of them built to frighten anyone. Staff pass hints to you during the game whenever you ask, so a younger group keeps moving rather than getting stuck. Three virtual reality games run alongside the physical rooms.

It suits families and mixed-age groups better than almost anything else in this category, and it takes birthday bookings.
