VroomTown Driving City is an indoor driving city for children on the first floor of Marina Square.
The floor is laid out as a miniature town, with roads, working traffic lights and scaled-down Singapore landmarks including the Merlion, Gardens by the Bay and Changi Airport, along with a drive-through cafe. Children drive small electric vehicles around it and are expected to obey the road rules, which is the point rather than a detail. Sessions run by the hour: $49 for a first-timer’s Learner Pass, $38 for a Drivers Pass once a child has been through it, and $15 for an accompanying adult. From five years old a child can drive independently, anyone nine or under needs an adult alongside them, and there is a soft-play area for the ones too small to drive.
It suits families with primary-school children better than any other group, and it is a genuinely different proposition from the ball pits and climbing frames that make up most of this category — closer to role-play than to a playground. Marina Square already holds several venues listed here, so it fits into a longer day out rather than needing one to itself.
