Play United at The Centrepoint is the chain’s Orchard Road outlet, pairing a floor of claw machines with a Pokémon trading card counter.
The cards are the difference from an ordinary claw shop: sealed packs, singles to browse and graded cards on display, with staff who know what they are selling. The claw side runs plush and character prizes at typical mall prices. It is a smaller outlet than the chain’s Century Square branch, which is worth knowing if you are travelling specifically for the card selection.
It suits families with a collector in tow, and anyone on Orchard Road with twenty minutes. Somerset station is a few minutes away, and Timezone and Trapped are in the same mall if the group wants something longer.
