ClawGey (Geylang)

ClawGey is a 24-hour claw machine shop on Lorong 10 in Geylang, and one of the few places in Singapore you can walk into at four in the morning and play.

The machines here carry a visible counter: after a set number of coins the catch is guaranteed, and the number is shown on the machine itself, so you know exactly where you stand rather than guessing. That one piece of transparency changes the whole feel of the place — you are buying a prize on an instalment plan rather than gambling against a claw. The stock leans hard into collectibles, Labubu figures above all, and the machines are kept in good condition rather than left to jam.

The hours and the address are what they are: Geylang late at night is not everyone’s idea of an evening, and this is a small shop rather than a bright mall floor. But for anyone who has fed twenty dollars into a machine and walked away with nothing, the guaranteed catch is the whole argument. Aljunied station is a short walk.
