Wan To Play Little Dino (Changi Airport Terminal 3)

Wan To Play Little Dino is a dinosaur-themed indoor playground down on B2 at Changi Airport Terminal 3, in the part of the terminal open to anyone, ticket or not.

It runs to about a dozen zones. The role play corner has costumes for firefighters, police officers and soldiers, along with a toy police car and a jail cell, and next to it is a workshop where children slide under a car to fix the engine. There are LED-lit slides that end in a ball pit, a projection wall you throw balls at to shoot hoops, a volcano-shaped climbing wall, four small trampolines, a pretend kitchen, and two pits filled with coloured beads rather than sand, one of them with a triceratops skeleton buried in it. A rideable dinosaur stands at the entrance and is charged on top of admission.

It is clean, roomier than most units in the terminal and the staff are friendly, though the toys have had more use than at the chain’s other branches. An hour is about the right length of visit. More than half of it is cars, dinosaurs and police, so a child with no interest in any of those has less to work with, and older ones will get more out of Zone X, the arcade a few doors down.
