Jewel Music Box in Bishan is the only branch of the chain that is not tucked inside a clubhouse or a country club — a second-storey unit on Bishan Street 13, a few minutes’ walk from Bishan station.

It is also the smallest, and the booking system caps a party at twenty here rather than the thirty its clubhouse siblings take; anything larger needs a call. What you get is the chain’s format intact: a three-hour block, free-flow hot and cold drinks and snacks in the rate, and rooms fitted with board games, dart boards and drinking table games as well as the sound system.

One rule differs here, and it is worth knowing before you shop. You may bring outside food in, so long as you clear up after yourselves — outside alcohol you may not, and corkage applies. Being a standalone shop unit rather than a clubhouse concession, this is the easiest branch of the six to reach on foot from a station, which also means the evening slots go quickly.
