Cow Play Cow Moo (The Seletar Mall)

Cow Play Cow Moo at The Seletar Mall took over the mall’s old cinema on level 4, and the space shows it. It is comfortably the biggest arcade of its kind in the north-east, large enough that an hour goes by without you having covered the whole floor.

The centrepiece is the Clawlosseum, a claw arena running more than three hundred machines stocked with licensed plush: Sanrio, Disney and anime figures, restocked through the week so regulars have something new to aim at. Around it sit arcade cabinets, coin pushers and ticket redemption games feeding the prize counter, where the chain puts its better rewards — Funko Pop figures, imported Pokemon displays, Nerf and novelties. It is also the outlet that runs officially licensed Disney birthday parties, themed around Winnie the Pooh, Frozen or Stitch, which no other arcade in Singapore offers.

Claw machines and redemption games take different tokens, so ask at the counter which you need before buying a stack — buying the wrong ones is the commonest way to start badly here. And claw play is chance however skilful it looks, so settle on a budget before the first note goes in.
