Cow Play Cow Moo at Downtown East takes up part of level 4 of E!Hub, inside the leisure complex at Pasir Ris rather than a shopping mall, and it is one of the chain’s larger floors.

The spread is unusually broad for the chain: rows of claw machines stocked with licensed plush, ticket redemption cabinets feeding the prize counter, coin pushers, and a basketball section. Price is the other draw — the membership card costs about a dollar and the play-credit deals here are among the better ones the chain runs, which makes it a cheap afternoon for a family rather than a quick raid on one machine. It also runs to 1am on Friday and Saturday, which few arcades here do.

Staff on the floor are quick to help when a machine jams. Prize stock is the inconsistent part — the collectible metal cards people come for can be out for weeks at a time — so it is better to come for the machines and the pricing than for one particular prize.
