Fun Claw (Jurong Point)

Fun Claw at Jurong Point is a claw machine shop on level three, and it is not the only one on that floor.

Cow Play Cow Moo sits a few units along with a full arcade and a redemption counter behind it, and iClaw Taiwan is further down the same stretch with its own bank of machines. Three operators on one floor is unusual, and it is worth walking all three before you change a note — they buy their stock separately, so the toy you came for may only be in one of them. This shop also shuts earlier than the mall around it, so it is not somewhere to drift into late in the evening.

The machines themselves are the problem. The claws grip weakly and let go in mid-air, and long runs with nothing to show for them are the ordinary experience rather than an unlucky session. There is no one on the floor to raise it with either, so when a machine misbehaves there is nothing to do about it except walk down to one of the other two.
