F3 Theme Park (City Gate)

F3 Theme Park at City Gate on Beach Road is a small playground built almost entirely around sensory play for toddlers.

Instead of the usual slides and netting there is a ball pit, a corn kernel pit to dig in, and longkang fishing — scooping small fish and creatures from shallow water channels with a net, which is a Singaporean childhood staple that almost no indoor playground offers. Water play is part of the offering, so bring a change of clothes rather than discovering that later.

It is squarely for the under-sixes; older children will run out of things to do quickly. It suits families in Kampong Glam and the Beach Road area, and Nicoll Highway and Lavender stations are both within reach. For a full-sized playground the nearest is Kiztopia at Marina Square.
