Tayo Station (Downtown East)

Pixel-art illustration of children playing in the ball pit and coming down the slides at Tayo Station, a ride-on bus and the bus-themed play frame behind them.

Tayo Station at Downtown East is a 10,000 square foot playground built around Tayo the Little Bus, and the first in Southeast Asia licensed to use the character.

The centrepiece is a road circuit where children drive ride-on Tayo buses along marked lanes with traffic signs and crossings, learning the rules as they go — the part parents consistently mention. Around it are a climbing and slide structure, a hinoki wood chip sensory pit, a ball pool with a small climbing wall, and brick-building and soft-play areas for the youngest.

It runs from about one year old to twelve, and weekday tickets buy unlimited time rather than a two-hour slot, which is worth planning around. It takes birthday parties, and booking online in advance is required rather than optional. Pasir Ris station is a short walk, and Wild Wild Wet is in the same complex.

Tickets through the pink button on this page cost less than paying on arrival.
