Timezone Jurong Point

Timezone Jurong Point is a 17,000 square foot outlet on level 2 of the mall at Boon Lay, and the only place in Singapore with drift bumper cars.

Those MAXI drift cars are the reason to make the trip: bumper cars built to slide rather than simply collide, and the operator’s own claim is that they are the first and only ones in the country. Around them sit social bowling lanes, roughly 160 games in total, VR, dance and drum machines, and the usual wall of claw machines. Tickets go to the prize shop by the entrance.

It suits friend groups and families with older children — the drift cars in particular reward anyone who can actually steer. There is a party room bookable with a host. Jurong Point is one of the busiest suburban malls in Singapore and the arcade follows the mall’s rhythm: weekends and evenings are packed, weekday afternoons are not.
